Common questions
What is the difference between renewal and reissue?
Both result in a new passport. 'Reissue' is the official term used for renewals and for cases such as damage, loss or a change in personal details. We confirm the right category for you during the free case check.
Do I need to visit VFS in person?
Yes. Indian passport applications in the UK require an in-person visit to a VFS Global centre for document submission and biometrics.
Are government and VFS fees included?
No. Our £75 fee covers our service. Passport and VFS fees are paid separately and we will tell you the exact amount for your case.
How long does it take to get the new passport?
Processing times are set by the High Commission of India and vary by case. Normal applications commonly take a few weeks; we will keep you updated throughout.
