How long does an Indian PCC take?

Where the passport was issued by the High Commission in London, it can be quicker. If police verification is needed in India, it may take several weeks.

Is this the same as an ACRO certificate?

No. The Indian PCC covers your record in India. A UK police certificate is issued by ACRO — we can help with that too.
